SetRoster is an offline-first professional tool. We designed it so we do not need to receive your client training records.
Effective July 19, 20261. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the SetRoster iPhone and iPad application and this website. SetRoster is intended for personal trainers and coaches, not for clients to create accounts or use as a social service.
2. Data you enter
You may enter client names, goals, injury or movement notes, workout programs, session records, body metrics, test results, and coach branding information. By default, this information is stored locally on your device. SetRoster does not operate an account server and the developer cannot view this content.
3. Optional private iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync, Apple stores and syncs the app data in your private iCloud database under your Apple ID. The developer does not receive access to those records. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s privacy terms.
4. Purchases and RevenueCat
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SetRoster uses RevenueCat to validate receipts, restore purchases, unlock the Pro entitlement, and understand aggregated purchase performance. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and App Store purchase information such as the product purchased, purchase and subscription status, dates, price, currency, and storefront information. SetRoster does not send client names, training records, body metrics, injury notes, coach branding, or exported files to RevenueCat. Neither the developer nor RevenueCat receives your full payment-card details.
5. Face ID, notifications, and Live Activities
When App Lock is enabled, biometric or device-passcode authentication is performed by iOS. SetRoster does not access or store your biometric data. Rest reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Rest-timer Live Activities do not use remote push updates.
6. Exports and backups
PDF reports, CSV exports, and backup files are created on-device. They leave the app only when you choose a destination using the iOS share or file picker. You are responsible for protecting files after export.
7. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
SetRoster does not include advertising SDKs or behavioral analytics for how you use training features, does not sell personal information, and does not track you across apps or websites. RevenueCat analyzes purchase history for subscription and sales reporting, using the anonymous identifier described above. This website does not use analytics cookies or a contact-form database.
8. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in the app, erase all local data in Settings, or remove the app and its data. You control exported copies separately. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can manage SetRoster data through your Apple ID and iCloud settings. RevenueCat retains purchase records as needed to provide entitlement, restore, fraud-prevention, support, and reporting functions. Because SetRoster uses anonymous identifiers, include the Purchase Support ID shown in SetRoster Settings when contacting us about a RevenueCat access or deletion request.
9. Your responsibilities as a coach
You are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis or client permission to record personal, health-adjacent, or training information, and for following privacy rules that apply to your business and location. Avoid entering information you do not need.
10. Children and medical information
SetRoster is a professional recordkeeping tool and is not directed to children. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or medical advice. Obtain guardian consent where required before recording information about a minor.
11. Service providers, changes, and contact
Apple provides App Store payment and optional iCloud services. RevenueCat provides purchase validation, entitlement management, purchase restoration, and purchase analytics.
